Does anyone else think that its sad that gentlemen and ladies are scarce anymore?
I would choose the guy that opens the door, offers his umbrella, and carries in packages and groceries over the guys that don’t.
Those are the guys I would want to spend time with.
Those are the guys I would want to put effort into by making their lives easier as well.
It feels like being an entitled asshat is the common thing.
Everyone is screaming and acting out. People getting into people’s faces over politics and religion.
I think you would get a lot further by winning a heart. If you’ve won their heart they will back ya no matter what.
If you act respectfully I think you could rule the world one heart at a time. Maybe not the literal world, but the people in your world.
Whatever happened to “lead by example”.
I would rather the guy that is going to make me proud to know him over some asshole.
When did having people act out towards you become acceptable?
When did it become okay to not be civil?
It’s actually sad.
I feel like I’m witnessing the death of manners.
Everyone is scrambling to be at the top while lashing out at the world.
Kinda a sick in the head mentality.
I’m not saying you should allow people to walk on you. You should respect yourself enough to not have people like that in your life. And in return, you should show respect to the people in your life.
At the end what does how you voted or how you practiced religion going to even matter?
Who wants their legacy to be being remembered as a hateful, spiteful, mean asshole that hated anyone that thought differently than they do?
Your only TRUE legacy is how you treat others and how you impact the world around you. All those small drops of kindness and decency throughout your life will become an ocean.
I think the people who are horrible will be like a grain of sand in the desert. sure there may be a lot of you, but really you won’t stand out in the end.
No one wants to run across the world for a single piece of sand.
But almost everyone enjoys seeing the ocean………
